With the arrival of monsoon, the true condition of our roads gets exposed. Potholes filled with muddy water are a common sight across the country. But this picture is different—it shows a pothole that has taken the exact shape of India’s map. As if the road itself is making a sarcastic remark: “India is moving on the path of development, but the roads are left behind.”
The question is, despite crores of rupees being spent, why do we still see such conditions? Will the map of India only look beautiful in books and flags, or will it continue to appear shamefully on broken roads like this?
