He also mentioned that authorities are considering the process of refunding ticket money to spectators who felt cheated.

West Bengal Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar assured a thorough and impartial probe. He made it clear that anyone found responsible for the mismanagement, misinformation, or security lapses would face strict legal action, with no exceptions.

Following the uproar, the state government has constituted a special inquiry committee to investigate how fans were allegedly misled and to determine accountability. The committee will examine promotional claims, ticketing details, security arrangements, and the overall handling of the event.
