These fake notes in denominations of ₹100, ₹200, and ₹500 are being promoted through videos and reels, claiming they are a new type of currency that can be used anywhere.

The scam is not limited to Instagram alone – similar videos are being shared widely on Telegram and Facebook, where users are encouraged to invest ₹1,000 and receive ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 in return. These fake notes are being advertised as if they can be deposited in ATMs and used in transactions across the country. However, this is far from the truth.

The videos also mock PM Narendra Modi’s economic reforms, claiming that “Second Currency” is a secret initiative by the government. This misinformation not only spreads chaos but also undermines trust in the financial system.
