Incident Details

In a disturbing case from Nagpur, Maharashtra, a private guitar teacher has been arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting a minor girl at gunpoint for nearly two months.

According to police reports, the 14-year-old victim had joined a guitar class in Ujjwal Nagar. Within days, the teacher, identified as Sagar Singh alias Samson, allegedly began misbehaving with her. On July 23, he called the girl to his flat at Sunshine Apartment and threatened to harm her family if she refused. He then used a gun and knife to intimidate her and committed the crime.

Two Months of Trauma

The accused allegedly continued threatening the victim and forced her to visit his apartment repeatedly. On August 12, he reportedly assaulted her again.

Gathering courage, the minor finally informed her mother on August 13, after which a complaint was lodged at Sonegaon Police Station.

Police Action

The police immediately arrested the accused and recovered a sword from his residence. Investigations revealed that Singh is married.

He has been charged under:

• POCSO Act, 2012
• Indian Penal Code (IPC)
• Arms Act Section 4/25
