BJP Rattled? Devendra Fadnavis Launches Sharp Attack on Rahul Gandhi Amid Explosive Allegations

Speaking to reporters in Panaji, Fadnavis didn’t mince words:

“I think the chip from Rahul Gandhi’s brain has been stolen,” he said mockingly, adding, “Either his brain has been stolen or a chip in his brain is missing. That is why he keeps making such ridiculous statements.”

Fadnavis’ unusually personal remarks came in response to Rahul Gandhi’s explosive claims earlier in the day. The Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha had accused the Election Commission of colluding with the BJP to “steal” the Maharashtra elections — a statement that has reignited the political fault lines between the two national parties.

Rahul Gandhi’s Aggressive Mood Signals a Shift

In a fiery press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi lashed out at the Election Commission and the ruling BJP, alleging that the 2024 Assembly elections in Maharashtra were “compromised” and “hijacked.”

“Not providing a machine-readable voter list confirmed our suspicion that the EC was working hand-in-glove with the BJP to manipulate the electoral process,” Gandhi charged, indicating a hardened stance in his political strategy.

While the Congress saw a drubbing in the polls, Gandhi’s assertive tone has drawn attention.
