Nagpur: A shocking daylight theft in the heart of Nagpur has triggered panic among local businessmen and raised serious questions about the city’s security. Thieves broke into the car of petrol pump owner Faraz Siddiqui and stole a bag containing ₹25 lakh in cash — all within a matter of minutes.

According to reports, Faraz Siddiqui had just left his business partner’s office with the cash. On the way, he stopped briefly near Shri Ram Tower to meet a friend. Since there was no parking space available, he left his car outside the building and went inside.

But when he returned… the car window was shattered, and the cash-filled bag was gone!

Well-Planned Heist Suspected

The speed and precision of the theft suggest it was a well-planned operation. Police believe the culprits may have been tracking Siddiqui’s movements well in advance.

He immediately reported the incident to the Sadar Police Station. Officers are now scanning CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects.
