Mustafa Engineer brings the Era of Bollywood Musicals back

Mustafa Engineer who started the trend of musical love story is all set to make a blast. In Indian cinema, there was a time when songs played an important role in the movie. If we talk about year 2000 to 2005, then action, romance and music were all the important component of a film. To think about making a romantic musical drama in those days was a big challenge.

During 1990 to 2000, if we take films like phool aur kaante, Baazigar, Deewana or saajan, all were big budget films with big names and had great music, action and drama. It was only because of all the three factors that the film could be pulled off.

But in 2006 was released, Chaand ke Paar Chalo that set a new trend. Before the release , it was declared to be a film suicide but the director, Mustafa Engineer was confident and was a determined person. Without big budget and any big names, he made a film which is still remembered. Chaand Ke paar Chalo proved to be a fantastic musical love story.

Another movie of the same pattern , Ashiquie 2 mahesh Bhatt was released in 2013 that proved to be musical love story of the same time. But Mukesh Bhatt dismissed any comparison and denied that ashiqui 2 was inspired by Chaand ke paar Chalo.
All that was a past, now coming to present, Mustafa Engineer is now set to bring another great Musical love story whose USP would be its Music. He says it would be of a completely different genre. The music is composed by Vishnu Narayan and the lyrics are by Rishi Azad, the same superhit team of Chaand ke Paar Chalo.

The star Cast , as said by Mustafa Engineer, will also be special.
Along with some fresh Faces, a few familiar faces will also be seen. The lead actress will not only be a great actor but also a very beautiful face, says Mustafa Engineer.
