A four-year-old boy was reportedly severely injured after his grandmother allegedly poured a bucket of boiling water on him. The entire incident was captured on CCTV and the video is now going viral on social media.

According to reports, the incident took place in the Koradi area of Nagpur. The child, identified as Om Harish Wange, was playing outside his house with a water gun and colors as part of Holi celebrations.

During the same time, his grandmother, Sindhu Thakre, was reportedly carrying a bucket filled with hot water that had been heated for the Holi bonfire rituals. As the child played nearby, he accidentally sprayed colored water from his pichkari on his grandmother.

The sudden splash of color allegedly angered her. In a moment of rage, she reportedly poured the bucket of hot water directly onto the child.

As soon as the boiling water fell on him, the four-year-old started screaming in pain. Reports say the lower part of his body suffered severe burns.

Hearing the child’s cries, other family members rushed to the spot. It is being said that the grandmother immediately realized her mistake and tried to pour cold water on the child to reduce the burning sensation.

Family members also attempted to give first aid by pouring cold water on the affected area. However, due to the seriousness of the burns, the child was quickly rushed to a private hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment.

What has shocked people even more is that the entire incident was recorded by a CCTV camera installed outside the house. The footage has now surfaced online and is spreading rapidly across social media platforms, triggering strong reactions from viewers.

Following the viral video, the police have taken note of the matter. Authorities have begun an investigation based on the CCTV footage and statements from the family.

The incident has left many people questioning how a moment of anger during a festival of joy could lead to such a tragic situation.
