A shocking murder case from the Umred area of Nagpur district in Maharashtra has created panic after a young man was allegedly stabbed to death following a minor argument. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and the disturbing footage is now going viral on social media.

According to police sources, the incident took place in the Kawarapeth area of Umred, where a small dispute quickly escalated into a brutal murder. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Pawar.

How the Nagpur Murder Happened

Initial investigation revealed that Rajkumar Pawar first got into an argument with a friend of the accused, Sohail alias Johnny Sheikh. After receiving information about the dispute, Sohail Sheikh reportedly rushed to the spot on a motorcycle.

Eyewitnesses and CCTV footage suggest that during the heated argument, Rajkumar allegedly slapped Sohail on the head while saying, “Kya re Johnny…”. The public insult reportedly enraged the accused.

In a fit of anger, Sohail allegedly pulled out a knife hidden near his waist and attacked Rajkumar brutally before fleeing the spot on his bike.

CCTV Footage of Umred Murder Goes Viral

The CCTV footage of the murder has now surfaced online and is spreading rapidly across social media platforms. The video reportedly shows the argument, the sudden knife attack, and the accused escaping immediately after the incident.

The viral footage has shocked residents of Nagpur and Umred, raising serious concerns over increasing violent crimes arising from petty disputes in Maharashtra.

Victim Died Before Reaching Hospital

Despite suffering serious injuries, Rajkumar Pawar reportedly remained standing near his motorcycle for a short time after the attack. Later, he left for the hospital with another person.

However, due to excessive bleeding and a deep stomach injury, he died before reaching the hospital. Doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Police Arrest Main Accused

After the horrifying murder, Umred Police acted quickly and arrested the main accused, Sohail alias Johnny Sheikh. Police have registered a murder case under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Investigators are also probing whether some associates of the accused were involved in the incident. Police officials stated that further investigation is underway.
