Fake Interpol Police Station Busted in Noida, Government Logo Copy, Fake IDs, and High Profile Scam Exposed

Noida’s Shocking Crime — A ‘Fake Interpol Police Station’ Busted! Government Logo Copy, Forged Certificates, and a Web of Deception

In a bizarre and brazen crime straight out of a movie plot, Noida Police has busted a fake police station that was allegedly extorting money while posing as an international law enforcement body linked to Interpol.

Six men, all originally from different districts of West Bengal, set up the so-called “International Police & Crime Investigation Bureau” in Sector 70, Noida, and projected themselves as a parallel police organisation.

How They Made It Look Real
Within just a week of renting the office in June, the accused put up official-looking boards with colours and insignia resembling those of central police forces. They claimed to have connections with Interpol and the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), and even boasted about having an “office in the UK.”

Forged Ministry Certificates to Appear Legitimate
The gang allegedly forged certificates in the names of various ministries, including Tribal Affairs and Social Justice, and displayed them on their website to collect “donations.” They also promised to get “official work done” through their so-called international network.

The Raid and Seizure
During a late-night raid on August 10, police recovered:

  • 9 mobile phones
  • 17 stamp seals
  • 6 cheque books
  • 9 fake ID cards
  • 4 large name boards
  • Forged ministry certificates
  • A CPU with incriminating files
  • Press ID cards and fake IHRC IDs
  • ₹42,300 in cash

The Accused
The arrested men have been identified as Bibhash Chandra Adhikari, Aragya Adhikari, Babul Chandra Mandal, Pintu Pal, Samapadmal, and Ashish Kumar. Their education ranged from below Class 12 to graduates in law and arts.

Legal Action
An FIR has been lodged at Phase 3 Police Station under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for impersonation, forgery, cheating, provisions of the IT Act, and the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950.
