Breaking News : Vadodara police booked Youtuber Shubham Mishra

Today Vadodara City Police took suo moto action in respect of an abusive, threatening video which was uploaded and shared on Social media by Shubham Mishra.

Police have detained him and initiated a legal process for registration of FIR against him under the relevent section of IPC and IT act

Timeline:

• Mumbai based comedian Agrima Joshua’s old video went viral on social media in which she cracked joked on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s upcoming statue.
• She was slammed for ‘hurting sentiments’ of followers of Shivaji Maharaj.
• Few MNS workers vandalized the cafe where the comedian performed her standup
• Vadodara based Youtuber Shubham Mishra posted a video in which he was hurling abuses to her(video deleted)
• However, Joshua on Friday evening tenders an apology and she said the video is taken down.
• Comedian Kunal Kamra posted the video of Shubham Mishra and tagged National Commission of Women to take action against him
• National Commission of Women wrote to DGP Gujarat to take action
• Vadodara Police arrested Shubham
