A horrifying incident in Greater Noida has left everyone shocked. What started as a fight between two students turned deadly — not one, but two young lives were lost!
What was the cause of the dispute? Who fired the shots? And why did this happen?
Today, we bring you the full story of the Bimtech Hostel firing in Greater Noida — a chilling account that will leave you stunned.

Detailed News:
A deeply tragic incident has come to light from Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
At the Bimtech college hostel, a dispute between two students on Tuesday escalated so dangerously that gunfire broke out.
The first victim, 22-year-old Deepak Kumar from Chilkuluri, Andhra Pradesh, lost his life on the spot. The second shocking blow came the next morning when PGDM student Devansh Chauhan also passed away during treatment.
The entire area is now gripped with fear and anxiety.
According to reports, around 11 AM on Tuesday, both students were found injured inside a hostel room. The door was locked from the inside. They were immediately rushed to Kailash Hospital, but it was already too late.
Doctors declared Deepak dead on arrival. Devansh’s condition was critical, with a bullet lodged in his head. His surgery continued late into the night, but by Wednesday morning, he too succumbed to his injuries.
23-year-old Devansh Chauhan was from the Bhagwan Talkies area in Agra. His father, Surendra Singh, recently retired from his position as Deputy SP in the Uttar Pradesh Police. Police confirmed that the licensed revolver used in the shooting was registered in his name.
Family members stated that Devansh left home on Tuesday morning and may have gone to pick up the revolver. He reached the hostel around 9:30 AM, and within hours, tragedy struck.
On Monday, his father had paid ₹3 lakh as tuition fees, and on Tuesday morning, he left for a funeral in Etah. En route, he received news that his son had been critically injured — a nightmare that turned reality.
The Knowledge Park police station in Greater Noida is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
The revolver recovered from the hostel had six bullets, of which only two were fired. Each student had been hit by one bullet, while four bullets remained loaded in the weapon.
The big questions remain — who fired the shots? What led to the deadly altercation?
Was the revolver picked up for academic reasons or for a personal conflict?
Police investigations are still underway, and the college management has not released any official statement.
Key Questions:
Was this simply an argument that spiraled out of control, or a pre-planned act?
Were there lapses in the hostel’s security measures?
Why and how was a licensed weapon used on campus?
Could negligence on the part of the college administration also be a contributing factor?
Two families have lost their shining stars.
A parent’s dreams… friends’ laughter… all stolen in a moment.
Now, all eyes are on the police investigation — the truth must be uncovered.
